Application The Gas Balance tool enables the balance of gas flows to be considered. Both the sources (i. e., import via pipelines or LNG terminals) and domestic production, as well as the sinks (especially export and consumption, but also the storage and retrieval) can be looked at in great detail. The degree of detail in terms of time (daily values) and region (point-specific consideration), as well as the topicality enable a differentiated but holistic view of the gas situation in Germany. Model core An interface is used to retrieve and merge raw data from different sources. These are reviewed, grouped into categories, and aggregated at different levels. Derived from this, graphics and analyses can be created automatically for use in, for example, reports and presentations.
